Presenting a handsome Limited Edition 2018 Calendar featuring the Masonic Paintings of Renowned International Artist Ari Roussimoff. Signed by the artist. All pictures are in color. Full measurement open: 17 x 11 ¼ inches. Closed measures 11 ¼ x 8 ½ inches. Here are some of Roussimoff’s finest paintings dealing with the subject of Freemasonry. Each artwork is rich in symbolism and meaning. Including among the works is his triptych “Parable of Light and Dark” as well as examples of Roussimoff’s unique painted Masonic Aprons. Some of these pieces have been exhibited at the Chancellor Robert R. Livingston Masonic Library & Museum of the Grand Lodge of New York. Currently on display there is his recent Masonic painting “A Ladder Through Life”. In the year 2013, Masonic Hall (Grand Lodge of New York) honored the artist with a large exhibition of artwork. His painting of “Hiram’s Apron” appears as representative of modern Masonic art on an official postage stamp of the African country of Benin. One of the first contemporary artists to devote a significant element of his art to Masonic themes, Roussimoff has also done numerous Masonic works on commission and has lectured on these pieces as well as his other works. Ari Roussimoff, a critically acclaimed painter and film director, has been called one of the most prolific and creative artists of his generation. His paintings of Russian, Ukrainian, Jewish, symbolic and Masonic themes have earned him much acclaim and they have been shown in over 80 exhibitions worldwide, including at the Eduard Nakhamkin Fine Arts Galleries, M.L. Considered by critics and audiences alike as the best ever documentary about Circus Sideshow Performers, “FREAKS UNCENSORED” was listed by the esteemed Facets Movie Lovers Video Guide as one of THE BEST DOCUMENTARY MOVIES OF ALL TIME! Roussimoff’s colorful life also includes creating sets for a Broadway show, costume design, performance art, hosting a three-part television music program on MTV and appearing on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera in a non-singing acting role. A colorful speaker, the artist has given many talks on his work (and still does). Roussimoff has lectured at colleges, universities, cultural institutions, and various functions in both Europe and America. He has perfectly meshed his life as a painter and as a filmmaker in a way that has not been done before. A world traveler, Roussimoff has lived and worked in Zurich, Amsterdam, New York, Los Angeles, Munich, Miami Beach and San Diego, among other places. Roussimoff works at painting all the time and considers each picture an adventure.
